Does Working Out Give You A Headache?
Working out is good for your health but some physical activities such as running or lifting weights can leave you an annoying headache. The pain can last up to forty-eight hours and can get worse when you strain or bend over.
Although usually the headaches aren`t serious, a medical exam is required because they may also have unknown causes like increased blood pressure. For almost ten percent of the people who experience exercise headaches, headaches may represent a serious healthproblem.
It`s still unclear what causes the headaches but sometimes they may also bring nausea or vomiting.
The headaches occur more likely while you`re exercising at a high altitude or at a high temperature. Caffeine or alcohol could also be a cause of the headaches so you should be careful with the amount of or alcohol consumed during your exercise program.
